The Word Of God The Beginning Of Joy

Take your eyes off what ought to have happened that has not happened and begin to meditate on God’s promises given by his word.

When you focus on negativity, it brings a cloud over your spirit man and in no short tie you are shrouded in the darkness of sorrow. But concentrating on God’s promises given to you in His word stimulates hope; that maketh not ashamed (Rom. 5:5) and this stimulates joy that activated the fulfillment of the word to testimonies. This is the life attitude of the wise. Jeremiah says; Thy words were found, and I did eat (meditate deeply) them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts (Jer.15:16). Yes! God’s word sweetens the soul. Begin to live your life exactly like Jesus lived His life; who for the joy (hope of future glory) set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and is now set at the right hand of the throne of God (Heb. 12:2).There is another level beyond what’s causing your grief now. Look into the word to see it and receive your joy back.

BEGIN TO REJOICE AT THE WORD AND PRAISE GOD FOR THE WORD

(I rejoice (O LORD) at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. psl 119:16.)

That’s David speaking. No wonder he bore fruits even in circumstances where others are barren. God’s promises are true basis for praising God. When you praise God for His word, He enlarges His word to you in revelations. And revelations cause your change. Why won’t you praise Him? Certain things have gone wrong despite! Oh! God is definitely the reason why all things haven’t gone wrong around you. Even the things that have gone wrong could have been worse if not for His mercies. Now He’s pointing you to the good things that will speedily come to pass. Begin to rejoice and begin to break forth on all sides as you receive the oil of joy and praise. These eight months remaining for the year, shall be seasons of harvest for you. Every valley of your life shall be filled with rainfall of His blessing. Peace to your heart, in Jesus Name!

New Beginnings In Marriage

God has a standard and provision for establishing marital breakthroughs…

Math 19/4-6, Heb 13/4. Marriage is for honorable living and all round refreshing, Heb 3:4 It is not an accident or a coincidence, but built.

A.         It is for learners.

       Only committed learners become great leaders. Until you are willing to learn you are not qualified to lead, Heb 6/12.  Jesus affirmed this in Math 4/19, ‘Get to know my approach to issues, follow the same approach and you will get the same results.

B.         There is a demand

       God’s principal provision for new beginnings in your marital destiny is divine enlightenment has been the greatest need to may troubled lives or destinies today… Math 7/24-27.As long as there is insufficient light, shinning is impossible. God’s glory is withheld and darkness becomes inevitable.

       This means arise, be announced and be made manifest.

Prov. 3/35 says, The wise or spiritually enlightened shall inherit glory while Eccl. 8/1 states that, wisdom makes a man’s face to shine.

Once there are no more new discoveries or enlightenments there can be no more adventures in life. Go for daily divine enlightenment otherwise all you will end up with is plenty of darkness, very little shinning and God’s glory withheld.

We speak not of the volume of scriptures but access to his voice;not church attendance but  plenty of spiritual illumination

C.         ACCESS TO DIVINE ENLIGHTENMENT

       Luke 2/52.A vital way of obtaining wisdom is learning and being taught. Wisdom is taught!! Prov 4/4-5

D.         HOW TO ENCOUNTER THIS BREAKTHROUGH.

       Many marital destinies are so insensitive and careless. They lack divine enlightenment. How then do you recover?

1.           Desire to learn.

Abraham: When it was breakthrough time in the house of Abraham picked it and the wife and children collaborated.

Elisha as an honorable man of God. The husband responded and barrenness was terminated ….2 Kings 4/8-16.

2.           Alertness

Ezekiel: Be available to hear the voice of the spirit through which you enjoy a duplication and multiplication. You cannot covet to get you connect to get. Connectivity commands the flow of divine substance, enabling you to produce dramatically and amazingly. The glorious financial destiny of this great commission and the unusual supplies is as a result of the encounter with the cope lands.

The bible dictionary defines teaching as an act of instructing students or imparting knowledge and information. Teaching is a process of empowering the word, so you can see what God is saying concerning the subject matter.

The concept of teaching usually means receiving and walking in divine instructions. The word you understand is the word you retain and it is the word you retain that you do. From this day you will stand as an example to the unbeliever.

3.           Meekness to learn

       Abigail: Foolishness can be very costly. It was in the case of Nabal who had become so insensitive, unlearned and thick that it destroyed him.

This month God will flood your life with spiritual enlightenment that guaranteed greater manifestations in your  marital destiny.

4.           Give him continuous praise

       High praised compel breakthroughs and divine recoveries. The Lord said to Israel through Moses, “Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: now turn you northward …’

      

Deaut 2/3.God’s provision for you is to be ever fruitful, ever productive, ever advancing. Therefore, ‘sing, o barren, Is 54/1-5.

       David was a praising saint. He acknowledged praying 3 times  a day and praising God 7 times daily. Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments Ps. 119:164

       Everything that sought tomes up his destiny ended up frustrated. At every stage of his life the enemy was frustrated just as every enemy of your marital destiny is herewith destroyed. PEACE

Covenant Responsibilities In Marriage

When you notice absence of marital break through, it is your duty to dig and find out why or what is making for the unfaithfulness. It is of great importance to note that God is never to blame nor has the devil any power over the life of a man who walks under the covenant. Hosea 4/6 You must therefore be sensitive to identify which covenant responsibilities are missing per time, so you can increase our fruitfulness.

A. Relationship with parents
There are many marital destinies, business and families that are not well today because one is yet to, ‘honor thy father and thy mother …’ .You have an undeniable responsibility towards your parent. Relating to them well and caring for their well being should be of utmost importance to you. And that is why many are tithing and sowing yet nothing is forthcoming because this major covenant is out of place. There is something in parental blessings; long life (Eph 6/3) protection, peace, lifting all round your life etc and you ought to go after it. Parental blessings are as important as blessings from God. Gen 27/3-4 They are what connect you to breakthrough in life. It is your covenant responsibility to honour your parents according to the level that God has blessed you. If this has not been your lifestyle repent and even sow a seed into their lives. Ensure that you include them in your covenant relationship with God. Watch what will happen.

B. Lack of focus in life
Many lack marital breakthroughs because they have become Lot’s wife in life and destiny .Only those who look forward go forward in life! …Luke 9/62. Exploits in the kingdom have their roots in knowledge of God. Dan 11/32. Those who know their God, not those who cry or weep nor those who run around shall do exploits. I see your life being filled  with exploits in Jesus name.

Your problem is not out of the happenings around but from within you as  a person. The knowledge of God does not bring one down it lifts you up. Do not say, ‘It is because I am a Christian. If I was still there like I was before, dong the things I used to …’ Beware, otherwise you will become a pillar of salt. Those who look back don’t see the front, neither do they get to the front. 

There is nothing that has value out of God. Nothing but a bitter end is all there is outside salvation …Eccl 7/8. There is nothing you  need that is not provided for in the bible so goo for it. Any relationship that will not let you walk with God will walk you down hell. Be focused and Jesus will make you the star that God ordained you to be.

Parental blessings are as important as blessings from  God.. gen 27/3-4.

C. Holding on to that does not profit.


1) Forgive and forget beloved. Math 1823-25
If anyone has offended, injured disappointed or owes you and you know he is not in a position  to pay, forgive and forget. Asking why? God has more for you than what  any man owes you. Do not bind your brother or sister because of offence. Fear has torments. Perfect love casts out fear.

2) Treat people well …Luke 10/7
When you have people work for you and you are leaving in splendor without considering them, you are a fraud. It is here that your business stops to flourish and life becomes a misery. Reward the people for their diligent service and allow them to grow as well. Remember Joseph? Maid or slave today  is not going to be one tomorrow, so do not despise or look down upon him, treat him/her well.

From today you shall be reckoned with by all around you as very great. There shall be no more leakages in your finance, but harvest.

3) Be diligent.
Breakthrough, affluence or glory never comes by accident but by input. Prov 22/29. There is dignity in labor. Anything that will profit your life must be worked on. Jesus said, I must work ….. “ He also said, “My father worketh” John 5/17. Paul labored, 1 Cor 15/10. There is no future for the idle in the kingdom, 2 Thes 3/10.The prosperous church is a doing believer,….and whatsoever he doeth he shall prosper, Ps 1/3. It is time to start working things out! Is 3/10.

4) Give it all you have got.
Black has nothing to do with the colour of your destiny. Slothfulness and lack of commitment to life and destiny or responsibilities  is what makes you ‘black’, songs of Sol. 1/6  put in your best in making most of what you have per time. There is enough provision around where you are. May you find it.

Give it all you have got and the covenant will locate you, your lifting will come and your future secured. Eccl 9/10.

Have joy in working out the best of every relationship. There is a great future awaiting you. Never be caught doing nothing or envying others. It is time to take back your position as a pace setting and blessed believer. From now on you will enjoy marital bliss in Jesus mighty name.

When the family succeeds, everything succeeds! (Psalm 11:3).

Marital breakthrough arises with the coming together of man and woman for the purpose of impacting their world. You are here to fulfill divine purpose and the ultimate for everyone is therefore fulfillment.

Without impact at home, you can never have value on the field. God is set out to repackage you, through teachings in this word, in a manner where you will command value both at home and in the field. You will be established in marriage with definite with definite impacts and effectiveness in life and ministry.

Your destiny shall be colorful for you are a child of destiny. Read Rom 8:20. BE BLESSED.

            Marital Foundation

God: In every home, God must be first and the central focus. I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; or without me ye can do nothing…John 15:5.

Family: Love and care is the utmost from your family and Christian testimony. Therefore let whatever you confess and profess be evident in your home.

Job/Ministry: Your good inside is what will show outside. If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Read Eccl 10:10

Responsibilities In The Home:

The husband

The husband is the head of the home and has the following responsibilities:-

Provide for the home: It is the duty of the husband to absolutely provide for the home in accordance to the blessing of God upon man….1 Tim 5:8

       Rule the house well: He is to accept responsibility for what happens in the home; positive or negative. Eve took the fruit but God called Adam. Treat your wife with honor and dignity. Read Gen 3

       Direct the home: The husband is to show the way out and forward at all times and to ensure there is no tension, crisis or struggle.

Let us then look at the wife’s place for responsibilities. Responsibility is the price for greatness.

The Wife:  (The homemaker)

Submission: Is willingness to put yourself under authority. It is an act of willingness and not weakness. It is unconditional, profound respect and acceptance. Eph 5/22,1  Pet 3/11-12.

Manage well: Means operating in selflessness and not selfishly! It is  to keep records and maintain self ,control. It is possessing and displaying covenant sense as well as being an example in the family….proverbs 3110, 27.

Be a help mate indeed:  It is about being a helper, supporter and a contributor. Be a blessing and not a burden as you help to maintain focus and not distraction. I see your contributions always taking your marriage and family forward in Jesus mighty name.

The individual responsibilities of the spouses are as crucial as the joint responsibilities. And what are these?

Joint Responsibilities.

Parental care: Promote honor unto your parents; both the maternal and paternal. Honor to your father, mother and for one another must be a family culture. Jointly decide to care for your parents. Raise the children in unity and with respect for their grandparents …Proverbs 20/20.

Challenges To Family Unity.

Going beyond bounds: Maintain control in your home as you keep your wife and children in check. Control should also be applied when speaking, in actions and exposures.

Money matters: Stay on the watch for wrong priorities, poor management, lack of accountability, uneven allocation, breaking of kingdom covenant demands hindered access or keeping of secrets.

Communication: It is the mortar that holds the family together. Spend  time together with the children.

The Effect Of The Spirit Of Love In The Believer.

            The spirit of love purifies your soul unto righteousness.

         If you love people they will love you back hence the spirit of love gives you a place in life. By purifying your heart, the spirit of love delivers you from deadly emotions very capable of destroying you and your destiny. When you practice love unto God and to other men you are actually purifying your soul. Read (1 Pet 1:22).

         Handle issues in love for that is where your own glory lies. Rather than to condemn, pray for others that God may deliver them. The more you walk in love the more you are purified. Paul was a man free from bitterness hence he was holy. He was full of glory and power. Free your heart from bitterness with all men, live in love and remain therein.

         Learn to forgive every of your offender. Well, they may make you angry but do not live in perpetual anger for that is sin. Read (Eph 4:26).

         Also speak the truth in love rather than to gossip or speak ill of another. Live your life by love and you will flourish.

         You cannot love God and say you do not love the brethren around you. Despite all he went through in the hands of his brothers and in Potiphar’s house Joseph carried on as if nothing had happened. That is the spirit of love. Read 1Cor 13:4-8.

2.            A love life preserves you in the faith until you are blessed. Read Rom 8:35-37. The fulfillment of the law is love, says the word of God. The spirit of love empowers you against doing evil both in the open and in the secret.

         Those who partake in the nature of Christ will partake of his blessings too.

Read Gen 3:7-9. Love constrained and motivated Joseph against evil. The one you love you will walk to please and not offend. That is even why Paul referred to himself as the servant of God; a bond man.

After Joseph revealed himself to his brothers he asked them not to worry nor had they done him evil! Love indeed!! Read Gen 45:5-7. Joseph became great because he was a man of love and God gave him favor before Pharaoh then lifted him up.

We are children of God, all of us having treat destinies to fulfill but it takes holiness and righteousness to fulfill it. The spirit of love is the cleansing power of the spirit. In all of us is the spirit of love but it is high time we stirred it up. Read Rom 5:5 1 Tim 1:6.

When an issue arises do not react but stop and ask yourself how love would respond. Once you are clear then RESPOND ACCORDING TO LOVE. God is faithful.

The Enemies Of Praise

Fear in your heart is one of the enemies of praise. And praising God with fear in your heart is mechanical; mechanical praise does not move God. Joy and gladness rather than fear in your heart is what moves God when you praise Him.  Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: spring … Joel 2:22.

Be not afraid for fear in your heart compounds to confusion, uncertainties, sorrow, despondency, frustration and anxiety. Instead of fear engage in hope.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait,  I say, on the LORD….Ps  27:13.

Despite any delays you may have seen do not give up and you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

David was pursued by Saul for ten years yet had hope in the Lord and ultimately ascended the throne as king. His secret was unending genuine praise unto his God.

Rekindle hope and praise God lest you become dejected and enter into frustration. Trust God to the end and He will never ever fail you!!Whatever is causing you frustration shall be destroyed on your behalf in Jesus name.

This is the time that God wants to confer unto you His blessings in the midst of the earth and before all. Therefore know the mystery of the joyful sound and you shall be blessed. Who so offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation a right will I she the salvation of God …Ps  50:23.

When in captivity Israel chose to look backward rather than forward and their misery continued. Read Ps 137:1-4. But that was not the case for Paul and Silas. They ordered their conversation aright. They understood the mystery of the joyful sound.

And at midnight Paul and Silas Prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. Acts 16:25-26.

As you take off in praise for who God is and what He has done things will begin to happen for you.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither hall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation…….Hab 3:17-18

Recall the goodness of God (rather than focusing on the evil satan has done you) in hope and let praise be birthed. When hope is stimulated praise automatically flows. This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope…..Lam 3:21.

The faithfulness of God is what is responsible for the goodness I our lives therefore cease from murmuring. Thank God for prayers but go on and praise Him for He will do great things. Thanksgiving and praising God for the past is what guaranteed the blessings of the now and future.

Ps 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

When Prayer Fails Turn To Praise

Death had come rearing its ugly head right at the heart of a wedding. The groom had collapsed and died in the vestry whilst signing the certificates. The young ministers ran helter-skelter seeking a solution. After praying every manner of prayer in futility one of them remembers what the man of God had taught them saying when prayer fails turn to praise. As they did so the groom came back to life and the opposition was humiliated at the instance of obedience.

As the word of God comes your way through this teaching, whatever was dead in your life – be it your marriage, health, wayward children, career, finances etc it shall spring back to life in Jesus name.

Whatever the spirit tells you to do through His servant, do it.

We are here to glorify and thank God for His goodness and faithfulness over our lives.

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; 2 if it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us’ 3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul’ 5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. 6 Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us a prey to their teeth …Ps 124:1-6

We are where we are in our lives, right from January to date, because God has been faithful. He is the one that has kept us.

‘The Lord shall utter his voice before his army ….’ Hence my harvest time is here remains our prophecy of the month with Gal. 6:8 being our anchor scripture.

Life everlasting is the ultimate of they that follow after GOD. But before life with God in eternity there is all manner of blessings right here on the earth.

There is nothing you genuinely sow unto God that you do not reap back a great harvest. As you sow you shall reap. The time of harvest is yet a time to sow because for a sower who sows in love, all seasons are seasons of harvest. Gen 8:22.

Every seed you sow generates harvest for a lifetime and despite the consistent harvest that a sower enjoys there is specific time where God brings in the fullness of the believer’s harvest. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heave ……Eccl 3:1.

Remember it is not of our time rather that of God. And when that time comes we only need  to understand  and reposition ourselves for the harvest. If you do not know your time then you may end up missing on your harvest. But am glad to announce to you that we are in that time/season of your harvest  for the set time  to favor Zion is here. Thou shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come ….Ps 102:13 and in this season…. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness..Ps 65:11. Therefore we are engaging in the sickle of praise to provoke our harvest.

Wonders Of Praise; Enforcement Of Supernatural Blessings.

Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? .. Ex 15:11

What are the wonders that God would do for His people amid-st their praise? Enforcement of divine blessings is one of the wonders.

We are therefore delving into this subject so that you can receive light to set your expectations in line with the word of God in order to see the same fulfilled.

What does praise do?

1. God is moved to destroy the opposition that hinder your blessings.
God is provoked and activated to move on your behalf when you render unto Him genuine praise. A divine standard is then raised against all supernatural opposition for the establishment of your blessings. Joshua had a first hand experience. Read Josh 6:1 onwards.

God made it known unto Joshua that it would not be by might nor by power but by His Spirit. Zech 4:6. As you praise God His might and power will come unto the scene and destroy any opposition. God gave Joshua the specific instructions on how to praise Him through the first 6 days and on the day of manifestation they were to heighten their praise. God came down, subdues their enemy and their harvest released. This is the mystery of praise. So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city …Jos 6:20

They are much more than what you have seen. As you begin to reposition yourself to praise God your harvest shall begin to answer for you.

2. Doors of breakthrough are opened when genuine praise is lifted unto God.  You have sown and have probably not seen your maximum harvest, do not fear  but be glad in your heart as you praise God. Joe 2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.  22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: foe he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
For without joy in your heart praise becomes noise unto God. He is never too late. At the due season He ill step in and deliver your package of blessings.

The key in this scripture is be glad and rejoice. When you do this the Lord will give you both the held up and blessings for now. Genuine praise brings the blessings of God in the ‘shaken together and running over dimension’ as seen in Luke 6:38.

Praise is the key to breaking down the barriers and giving you access unto the fullness of the blessings of God.

Without high praise God’s will cannot be fulfilled. Many of us have not been able to experience the manifestation of the blessings herein because we have not located the enemy yet. The enemy of our breakthrough is the enemy of our blessings.

The Sanctifying Force; The Spirit Of Love

The spirit of love ruling the spirit and controlling the heart of man is the sanctifying force and purifying power of the Holy Spirit. The workings of the spirit of God in the dimension of love is what sanctifies and purifies us to holiness.

The level of success satan enjoys is determined by the number of souls (that are prepared for glory) whose destiny he is able to destroy and ends them up in hell with him. You shall not be one of them, despite him targeting man because he knows his time is up!

Loving one another is the proof of God’s grace upon your life. Remember it was the love of God that gave birth to the new birth therefore we are children of love. When love for people waxes cold then are we disconnected from grace. Every disconnection from grace brings one under the rulership of satan. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold ….Mt 24:10-12.

The spirit of love is the power of righteousness. When you go through the word you find that there is a direct relationship between righteousness, holiness and love. God is love and everything He does He does in love. The spirit of man is the well spring of love; the spirit of bitterness, anger and hatred in the heart is the well spring of iniquity.

Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 he that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love ….1 John 4:7-8.

Righteousness holds key to the life of glory for which we are called. Therefore with bitterness, anger etc how can a person love? Love cannot afford to live in hate. How can two walk together except they be agreed. Amos 3:3
The source is what determines the flow. Either righteousness or iniquity flows in your spirit. And one of the two determines what spirit is at work in you or not. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? …..James 3:11

Therefore guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. The heart of man is the fountain of life. Without Christ in you there’s no hope of glory. So if you continue with deadly emotions such as anger, bitterness, hatred etc the Holy Spirit will leave you alone. Allow the spirit to overwhelm and walk you in love. It is your choice to determine what force rules your heart.

You cannot carry bitterness and evil in your heart and say you are of God. It is the spirit of love that confirms and establishes us in God. Your seal of redemption and sanctification is love from your heart. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth is us, and his love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his spirit …..1 John 4: 11-13.


The spirit of love works in us to bring us to perfection. You cannot be righteous if you are not in God and He in you. It is the Holy Spirit that works in us to will and do the good pleasures of God. Make a choice to live in love as a child of God. Every time you choose to handle and issue in love God has flowed through you and that guarantees blessings.

The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. And the spirit of love is what stimulates joy and peace. It is what gives birth to righteousness. If you are a hater you cannot love people. Let not the devil extinguish the fire of love in you for people. May the God of heaven deliver you from the spirit of bitterness and anger because you cannot continue to live in that polluted spirit and expect to see God.

There is a way to live a Christian life for God to be with you. Be at peace with all men. Let this be a ‘lifestyle of’ rather than a ‘prayer into’ holiness. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the lord; …. Heb 12:14
You cannot be at peace except by love.

Stand against bitterness, follow God and fulfill destiny. Apostle Paul refers to it as gall of bitterness; and just as gall is bitter when smeared over chicken so is bitterness in your spirit. Relate to God in spirit and in truth. You cannot connect nor relate with God when your heart is in bitterness. Access the spirit life by practically understanding the effects of living out of the love life. The Holy Spirit is the one who makes us holy and righteous and it is our duty to allow him to make us by opening our hearts to him and walking in the love of God.

God is love and those that live in love live in God and God in them. Every child of God must therefore be a child of love. From today you will begin to experience the glory of God.

The Fundamental Cost Of Leadership PART 2

(d)     Diligence

Prov 12:24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful shall be under tribute. You can get out of life more than what you are willing to put into it. Seed time and harvest not just about money, but also about investment consciousness. You need to invest time, energy and resources. Bill Gates labored to be where he is today. Prov. 22:29seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Billy Graham is sold out to kingdom business only. He’s a world ruler in the gospel realm. The whole world gathered to bury his wife. A diligent man in his business. Therefore, it is impossible to reign without  vision, wisdom,   discipline and diligence. Those are four fundamental costs of leadership.

(e)   Sacrifice

That’s the capital price to pay, going all the way, Luke 12:49-50 I am come to send fire on the earth, and that will I, if it be already kindled? But if I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straightened till it be accomplished! Global impact places global demand. Stretch yourself! It is a baptism of sacrifice that births great leaders. This means putting your life on the line. David was not going for Goliath to get title but to stop the harassment of Israel by this giant, at the risk of being killed. Where you say, “I rather die than watch this shame”, is what sacrifice means. Moses didn’t fear going back to Egypt Israel free. Daniel didn’t fear being thrown into a den of lions. They fulfilled their leadership destinies by sacrifice. The altar of sacrifice is broken down in Africa, it must be repaired. You never have a star without a scar. The scar of every star is sacrifice. Matt 20:20-23 it takes the cup of wisdom and the baptism of sacrifice for great leaders to emerge. Your leadership potential will find expression on this platform. If it means crawling, get at it. I have brought enough funds to cater for everything including whatever needs to be paid here. Those that in the world to get don’t amount to much at the end, but those that are in the world to add don’t loose value. Great leaders both in the Bible and contemporary history are products of sacrifice. Abraham, Moses, Joseph, David, Daniel, Nehemiah are examples. Think of Esther, Ruth, Martin Luther King Jnr., and Nelson Mandela.  The sacrifice of such men gave birth to free nations today. The quality of your sacrifice determines the quality of your leadership rating. How much are you willing to give up in driving the plan of God for your life? Always on your assignment, doing beyond normal. We are all redeemed to reign, but not without a cost. Doing more than what others do, you will be a leader in your area of endeavor. There is nothing extraordinary without extra-ordinary investment. Africa has an army of men who don’t know where they are going don’t care to learn how to get there, and those who care to learn how to get there are not disciplined enough to apply themselves to their finding. Find out what will make a difference. I went on a search of three days into financial prosperity in 1982 and found the secret. I follow it. You cannot blame God for blessing me. I’ve never had any stress helping to see others smile; you can’t blame God for sending me favors. It is one thing to find the truth and quite another to line up with it. It takes self-discipline to do it. God told me spiritual impact is the best way to enter into supernatural supplies. The people you preach to must have heart to show for it or else you won’t have access to supernatural supplies. Labor in the word and doctrines, it takes plenty of discipline, fresh preparation for every meeting, fresh noted. You can’t wish leadership. You build yourself into it. The grace to commit yourself to the fundamental cost of leadership is released upon you today. Go and work hard, anointing is no substitute for hard work. You are either a worker today or a beggar tomorrow. Prov. 13:4 Too many non-working people abound in Africa today, some at 30, they are still in their parent’s homes! God blesses what you do. Doing nothing multiplied by one million equals nothing. You don’t have a future without a working hand. You drive 80 kilometers perimeter to cover Canaan land today. Why? A mind to work. If ministry is not work for you, you can’t have results. Many say I resigned work to go for full time ministry. That’s a misconception. You make a living by working 8 hours a day, but you can only make impact by working beyond 8 hours. Receive grace to actualize the leadership potentials embedded in you by applying yourself to the price involved. Peace!!!

What Must You Do For The Leadership Seed In You To Grow, Blossom And Flourish?

     1      Vision

This is a fundamental requirement of leadership knowing where you are going is called   the wisdom of direction. Until you identify your field, you have no future in leadership. Prov.29:18 Where there is no vision the people perish. Vision is the foundation upon which leadership is built. You discover your purpose and stay on with it. God has a plan for every one of us. Your journey of leadership begins with discovery of God’s plan for you. Once you do this and abide by it, you have secured your future. To miss vision is to lose value, and to be stripped of honor and dignity. Your future is in God’s plan not in your plan. Until your task on earth is defined, your leadership, your leadership will not find expression. Whatever comes to your mind, check it in line with God, so you don’t misinvest your energy. There are three ways to discover God’s plan for your life;

(i)           It may come to you as a heavenly vision, like Moses and the burning bush, Paul on his way to Damascus Acts 26: 19 or  1^st May, 1981 (my encounter God)

(ii)          It can come to you by a burning passion like Nehemiah, check on your inside, you may have God’s plan inside.

(iii)       By discovery of the divine gifting God has given you. They may be pointers to your God-given plan. The gift can help define where you belong. So locate your field for the leadership potential in you to come alive.

2 Wisdom

Eccl. 10: 15x The labor of the foolish weareth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city. He knows the city to go to, but he doesn’t know how to get there. Prov. 8:15 By me (wisdom) kings reign and princess decree justice. Even though you are destined to reign, wisdom is a requirement or ascending to the throne. Unfortunately many have mistaken common sense for wisdom. 

Wisdom is an intelligible application of acquired knowledge. Commonsense will beget common results, Matt 7:24-28 wisdom is acquired and applied sense, not common sense. Many are grounded today because they mistake commonsense for wisdom. The principal raw material for wisdom is knowledge. Covenant University is emerging as the leading university In Africa in 7 years! But before she was founded, I engaged in an exhaustive study of nine world class universities like Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, Yales etc. 

How they started, their growth pace, how they developed their programs. Universities that were hundreds of years old. I needed an understanding of how these great universities had acquired their greatness, so as to lay out our administrative structure. That’s how wisdom is cultivated. Many people in Africa are weary because they have no value for wisdom. They mistake native intelligence for wisdom. God called me to ministry in an 18-hour long vision. But before I started off, I studied 39 selected biographies of great ministries. 

So when speaking as a full time minister, I was speaking with 39 borrowers senses which goes on to enhance the quality of our decision making. Am therefore not surprised where we area today. There are people in business who have not read even one book on the business they are doing in their life. Common-sense! Poor leadership in African politics is a result of having too many empty headed politicians, who don’t belong to any school of thought. There is no president in America who doesn’t belong to a particular school of thought in politics. 

There are ministers of the gospel who may not have read any book of ministry, or some even can’t define ministry. Careful acquisition of facts is what guarantees you a step into practical leadership. Don’t stop learning .Keep your mind young. Wisdom is a growing virtue. Luke 2:52 Jesus increased in wisdom, stature, favor with God and man. Prov 1:5 A wise man will hear, and increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels. Wisdom shall attain unto wise counsels. 

Wisdom has unlimited capacity for growth. Never forget that wisdom    demands acquisition of knowledge and applying intelligibly. There is a common saying in the West; that if you want to hide anything from a black man, write it in a book. He may never find it! Anything you engage in without acquiring adequate knowledge and applying that knowledge you get ordinary results at best.

(3     Discipline

Eccl. 10:16-17Woe to thee o land, when thy king is a child and thy princes eat in the morning. Blessed art thou, o land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength and not for drunkenness! This statement defines self-discipline. Every truly distinguished person must be highly-disciplined. 1 Cor 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 1 Cor. 9:24-27 Race runners are many, but the winner is only one. We keep our bodies under subjection. Discipline is operating as commanded. Not as convenient. Whatever demand your envisioned future   places on you, you subscribe to it.

Benefits Of Divine Presence

Mercies and divine approval

God is the Holiest and we cannot impress Him with our self righteousness. Our righteousness is likened to filthy rags before the presence of God (Isa. 64:6). It is our love practically and sincerely demonstrated to Him that impresses Him. The harlot in (Lk. 7:37) got Christ’s approval despite who she was because of her sincere act of worship. Christ’s righteousness became her righteousness and she was approved of God indeed. In (Lk. 17:12), the leper returned to Jesus to worship him. He went down on his knees and with a loud voice glorified Jesus and Jesus gave him all that he needed. May God’s favor and blessings begin to answer for you as heavens approves you.

Healing

When you worship, the Holy Ghost flows and as a result you receive healing of the spirit and soul. This in turn results to the restoration of your body, the restoration of your life and of your destiny. When the Spirit of the LORD GOD is activated in you (which worship does) brokenhearted is bound up, your prison houses are open. For your mourning, the Spirit of God gives you comfort. God clothes you with beauty instead of ashes. He pours up on you the oil of joy for mourning, and you are clothed with the garment of praise for the Spirit of heaviness so that you become his tree of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, which glorifies God. Isaiah 61:1-3. It’s that awesome! Friends, if you don’t know what else to do, worshiping God in Spirit and truth is what you ought to do. Lift up your eyes to God. Begin to adore and worship Him and before the end of this year, you will stand decked with heavens blessings and virtue that satan has hitherto stolen from your life. PEACE! Stay blessed.

Opening Up For The Grace Of God.

A life of worship is the principal way to open up. This is because worship attracts God’s presence and God’s presence is the light that rolls away every gloom which is at the root of every life’s misbehavior and decadence. Some one that is hurt will naturally hurt others. Someone who is not sure of himself and does not love himself cannot love others. Someone who does not have a sense of worthiness cannot see anything good in any person.

A broken soul is a medium for the operation of darkness.  But Gods presence which worship attracts brings inward restoration.  God is stepping in to helping you read this peace. Hear this: “Rejoice not against me, O my enemy; when I fall I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me… therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.”  (Micah 7:7-8)

We can bring Gods presence down in prayers or praise but the easiest and most effective way of bribing the presence of God down is by genuine worship. You need joy to praise effectively but all you need to offer genuine worship unto God is a sense of his holiness and a sense of his awesomeness. Worship is therefore an overflow of love and a sincere display of emotions in physical ways from your spirit to God. 

This draws God to you. Jesus said,”And he that sent me is with me: the father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that pleases him.” (Jn. 8:29). And in John 4:23-24 we find out that worship is one of the things that Peace God. Faith pleases God but when you worship God in faith and love, it pleases him the more and he comes to you (Jn. 4:23-24). Worship is a principal assignment for all the saints of God. 

It is through worship that we attract the presence of God without which we cannot effect our surrounding and have the fulfillment of His glorious plans for our lives. When you secure Gods presence, you will have the results that those who are merely laboring do not have. “…….for by strength shall no man prevail.” (1 Sam. 2:9). “……Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit (shall you see fulfillment), says the LORD of host.”… Zech. 4:6. That is the blessedness that worship brings.

Worship is actually an attitude rather than an act. Since we worship God in Spirit, He comes to us and the kingdom of God is restored within our soul and spirit. Luke 17:21. And you know the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy which the Holy Ghost established in our inward man (Rom.14:17. Until the spirit man is restored, you cannot see the restoration of all things that God has ordained for you. 

Job lost everything and he could have lost them forever because the spirit of depression overwhelmed him. God had to send a man by the name of Elihu to speak to him, to open him up again and then Job began to worship God. And God began to move in the life of Job again when his peace, joy and relationship with God and man was restored. Your case might seem pitiable now, but as you begin to worship God, things will begin to change for you for the better IN JESUS NAME.

Worship Key To Total Restoration

Restoration can be defined as God giving back to you in multiple folds whatsoever was stolen from you by the devil. From the bible we find out that Satan took everything that Job had. But when God began to move,  the bible says that the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10). That is Restoration! Restoration can also be defined as the abundant release by the hands of God to you of those things meant for you in destiny hitherto withheld by the enemy. Hannah loved God but she was called a barren woman over time. This was a great mockery to Hannah and a source of grief. But when the God of restoration came in, Hannah had a new song to sing; the barren woman hath born seven children (1 Sam. 2:5). In John 10:10 Jesus says “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

I don’t know what Satan has stolen from your life or what he has withheld from you that is causing grief, God shall give them back to you in the name of Jesus. Restoration is Gods promise, we claim his blessings. May God’s blessings become your lot from this day forward.

DIVINE PLATFORM FOR RESTORATION

Until joy, peace, faith, confidence, righteousness and a sense of worth that righteousness brings is restored your spirit and soul, things will get worse. The Bible says in proverbs. 15:15 that, “All the days of the afflicted are evil…” when a man’s soul and spirit are afflicted, all other things begins to fall apart.  This is so because fear, sorrow, grief of heart, resentment, depression, bitterness, sense of unworthiness and all other emotional disorders referred in the scriptures as darkness, separates you with the Almighty God. And when a man is separated from the operations of the Spirit of God, the aftermath is more evil, grief, oppression and torments….. In (Proverbs 15:15 b) the Bible says “But he that is of merry heart (in the joy of the LORD and in the peace”.

In destiny, a daily continual feast is God’s plan for you (Ps 68:19). Therefore, a necessity is placed on you as a covenant child to open up absolutely to God. Many of us are closed up to God and man, such that it is very difficult to have a meaningful fellowship and communion that this is the foundation for our blessedness in the faith. However, when your spirit is opened up to God, it opens up doors for you before God and men. Joseph, while in slavery and while in prison, was a very jovial person.

His spirit and soul was from this evil gloom's. He was always making people happy even though he had a cause to be sad and depressed. He however refused it. That is why God’s Spirit kept working around him and in him and kept going up until he finally become the Prime Minister in a land where he was once a slave. So, a radiant soul and spirit is a major asset for you if you want to get to the place appointed for you by God in destiny. Friends this is the kind of spirit where genuine praise comes from. And this is the spirit of God is imparting to you this day. It is easy to praise God when you have a radiant spirit. It comes naturally like water coming out of a spring. This is because it is the spirit of God that is at work in you. Is it not written, “for it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. ” (Phi. 2:13). I pray for you that that God by his Spirit will translate you to the experiencing of this divine grace. You will never be down again in JESUS NAME.
